aThe spirit of service, leadership and community development came alive at the grand installation ceremony “Srijan” of Rotary Club Green Greater Noida for the Rotary Year 2026–27. Held at Kimaya Grand, Greater Noida, the event brought together Rotarians, distinguished guests, office-bearers and members of the wider Rotary family to celebrate a new beginning and reaffirm the commitment to serving society.

As a Board Member of Rotary Club Green Greater Noida, I had the privilege of being associated with this important occasion with complete dedication and enthusiasm. Being part of the programme and contributing to its successful execution was a deeply fulfilling experience.

Welcoming a New Leadership Team

The installation ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter for the club.

Our newly appointed President Rotarian Nikhil Garg Ji, Secretary Rotarian Rahul Sharma Ji, and Treasurer Rotarian Sanjay Garg Ji formally took charge of their respective responsibilities.

It was a proud moment for the entire Rotary family to welcome the new leadership team and extend our best wishes for a successful and impactful tenure.

Leadership in an organisation like Rotary is not merely about holding a position. It is about accepting responsibility, inspiring fellow members and transforming ideas into meaningful initiatives for society.

With fresh leadership comes fresh energy, new ideas and renewed determination to expand the club's contribution to the community.

Recognising the Previous Year's Achievements

The occasion also provided an opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of the outgoing leadership.

Former President Rotarian Rishi Agrawal Ji shared the club's achievements and various service initiatives undertaken during the previous year. His presentation reflected the dedication and collective efforts of the entire Rotary team.

Every successful service project represents the contribution of many individuals working together with a common purpose. These achievements remind us that when people come together with the spirit of “Service Above Self,” meaningful social change becomes possible.

A Gathering of the Rotary Family

One of the most memorable aspects of the event was the presence of Rotary Club presidents and office-bearers who came from different cities.

As a member of the Rotary family, I had the opportunity to warmly welcome and interact with these visiting leaders and fellow Rotarians. Their presence added warmth and dignity to the occasion while highlighting the strong network and fellowship that connects Rotary members across communities.

Such gatherings are more than ceremonial occasions. They provide opportunities to exchange ideas, share experiences and build stronger relationships that can eventually translate into larger and more impactful community initiatives.

Distinguished Presence

The event was further honoured by the presence of District Governor Rotarian Amit Gupta Ji and members of the district team, including Manoj Agrawal Ji, Vinod Goyal Ji, AG Shailesh Chand Vasne Ji and Atul Jain Ji.

The presence of distinguished Rotarians and senior office-bearers provided valuable encouragement to the new team and the entire club membership.

It was also a pleasure to interact with Media In-charge Rotarian Vinod Kasana Ji and other members of the Rotary family during the programme.

Welcoming New Members

A particularly special part of the occasion was welcoming the new members joining the Rotary Club Green Greater Noida family.

Every new member brings fresh ideas, new experiences and a different perspective. Their participation strengthens the club and expands its ability to undertake meaningful initiatives.

As a Board Member, being able to welcome these new members personally was a moment of pride and happiness. I sincerely hope that their journey with Rotary becomes an opportunity to learn, serve and create a lasting positive impact.

Rotary's timeless principle, “Service Above Self,” continues to inspire people around the world to contribute beyond themselves.

Whether it is education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, support for underprivileged communities or other social initiatives, the essence remains the same—to make a positive difference in people's lives.

The strength of Rotary lies in its ability to bring together professionals and community-minded individuals who are willing to contribute their time, skills and resources for the betterment of society.

The beginning of the new Rotary year is an opportunity to look ahead with optimism and determination.

With Rotarian Nikhil Garg Ji leading the new team, supported by Secretary Rotarian Rahul Sharma Ji, Treasurer Rotarian Sanjay Garg Ji, the Board, members and the wider Rotary family, there is great potential to take the club's service initiatives to new heights.

The objective should remain clear—to identify genuine community needs, develop practical solutions and create initiatives that deliver sustainable benefits.
